Slavish copycats

For all Atif Aslam fans, especially who love his song Pehli Nazar of movie RACE, this is a *HUGE* disappointment!

As mentioned in a comment, the song was part of the soundtrack of a 2005 Korean tele series titled, 'Kwae-geol Chun-hyang' (Delightful Girl Choon-Hyang or Sassy Girl Chun Hyang).

Well, you can expect this in bollywood flicks infact, plagiarism now has become a characteristic of indian movies. Still... thumbs down for the music composer Pritam!

And you can expect similar things (or much worse) from artists like Ali Zafar (whose Lux song's composition was a plagarised version of an arabic song), Atif Aslam and manyyyyyy more who have sold their souls (and songs) to commercialists!

I can't see the video as i live in a censored world where YouTube is not available. Anyways, copying is common in the media sector as i have seen a lot of people in ad agencies, copying the concepts of other countries and slightly modify it to match the local requirements. It is sad that we believe in successes which are not genuine. It is inspired by greed and not internal satisfaction. I don't know but i only work for internal satisfaction and once that is lost, i can't work at all. I don't know what motivates such people.
I hope xunz jee ka ap ke sehat theek ho gaye ho gee coz i came here primarily to inquire about that and read this blog as a result.

Hi Xunz...
Plagiarism has been quite common these days.. There is a tough competition among the music directors and one should adopt to these things if they want popularity in less time. they can't keep on composing songs which, i guess , would take a lot of time... so they just simply copy music from others...
But, anyways, we should not welcome this trend....
